The Gucci Cruise 2025 collection was set in the Tate modern and inspired by creative director Sabato De Sarno’s trips to London. The show was in the Turbine hall with indoor plants.
The collection darts through poignant times and suggests a loose and long fitting season of trends are ahead.
Spring summer 2025 is predicted to reign heavy with hark to the Grecian empire. We would name this collection ‘Athena’ after the snake like bending hardware and the airy clothing. Perhaps an Olympiad gymnasium feel can be thought of towards the end with a hark to a rhythmic stop in the middle.
This collection will have you wearing the longest gowns with the easiest of movement this spring summer. The slits at the side with give you plenty of room to put a daring amount of leg on show. The subtlety of a serpent inspiration will come through this coming season in the snake pattern dresses and curving jewellery.
The Grecian Gown
The styles were of a lounging Greek inspired setting. The models weaving between the red frames in a cool but hasty and decisive ambiance. The gold hardware, drifting and draping fabrics and alter-neck gowns reminisced for me the ancient robes of the Greecian gods.
Sheer criss crossing fabric seems to be a style with revealing tops and daring cut outs.
Lace Cut-Out
The olympiad cut outs and smooth flow of this seasons fabrics will have you purchasing the most minimal summer maxi dresses.
Sharp Big Collar
The sharp and big up collars to the coats this season give a feline empowerment.
The extremity of the climate is conveyed through the heavy pocketed skirts, hats and jackets. The dome shaped hat contrasted by the minis and boxy coats are an ode to the contemporary. This season certainly brings Rome into the futuristic.
Sequinned Dazzler
For going out looks there was a stunning sequinned piece that dazzled through the masses.
The low cut long skirts restrict the movement to give the most prudent attitude in the walker.

Following this was the interruption of a loud and powerful lime green draping jacket. This was paired with a tank top and some baggy denim which was an unforgettable parade of a catwalk stained display. The story conveyed appears to hark to the end of an era.
The looks spiralled as a remembrance of an ancient history that is rewritten as a modern masterpiece. The future appears to be one language with the flashiest pieces disappearing into the mauve.
There is room for a classic alternative to this seasons classical look. The deep cuts give a more approachable look that can be worn on great occasion. This dress gives plenty of room for movement and easily puts a more seductive spin on the Gucci inspiration.
These dresses are a modest way to the minimal Spring Summer 2025. The lace shows all that is good to be seen for any communal event. The dresses are over the knee and loose to the movement. The pieces also feature full length sleeves with textured lace.
